The room’s rules
What’s said in the room stays in the room.
These are the rules in every room. They protect everyone the same way, and they don’t change by room or price.
No participant lists.
Not published, not shared beyond the few who run the room, not confirmed to anyone who asks.
No recording.
Of any room, by anyone. Devices are down in the room; no photographs of people, cards, materials, or the venue. We may ask that a device go into a bag.
No names, no logos, no quotes without permission.
Nothing said in a room is attributed to a person, inside the room or outside it, unless that person gives written permission for the exact words. No name, face or likeness is ever used without it, and this site carries only a few. The one exception is the law: a court order or compulsory legal process (with notice to you where the law allows), imminent harm to a person, or our defending ourselves in a dispute. Nothing else.
No solicitation.
Nobody in a room may sell, recruit, raise, or pitch. We don’t either — no room is sold from the front of another.
No titles.
No introductions by job title. Everyone comes in as themselves.
Everyone takes part.
Everyone in a room is in the room.
No forced revelation.
What you say is yours to decide.
No decisions in the room.
Nothing irreversible is done there. You take what you saw home first.
One results email, then an occasional question.
If you take the Gap Test, you get your score by email and, now and then, a question. One click stops it.
A person answers.
A request for a Conversation goes to a human inbox and is answered by a human. There is no automation on it.
The rules are the seat.
Breaking them — recording, soliciting, naming, or refusing the room’s laws — means leaving the room, without refund. We’ll tell the others only that a seat was vacated, never why.
The materials are ours.
